Log 02 - Oh Deer

Highlights

- Much of the last week or so has been about collecting and preparing assets for renders and animation, mainly buildings and cars. The assets I've been collecting have been a mixture of free and paid which has lead to researching, interesting thought exercises, and 'internal discussions' on the nature of copyright.

- I've also been defining my workflow little by little as I acquire tools and resources to do what I need. This includes learning about more technical features like drivers and constraints

- The final thing I've been doing is getting reference for a short (or a series of shorts) involving all these cars I've been downloading. Most of it has been getting footage of old Renderware titles of the Playstation era like Burnout and GTA 3, but I have been getting real life reference as well for better or worse. Let it never be said that I am not dedicated to learning the craft!

- In unrelated news, I hit a deer and banged up my car up over the weekend. I’m fine, plus the car still drives though!
