How I learned to stop worrying and love technology
We live in strange times. The integration of artificial intelligence that is currently happening is a bit scary. There are multiple reasons to be scared, the singularity being one of them. Self-aware AI attempting to destroy the world or enslave the human race, for whatever reason, is only one interpretation of the definition that we’ve become accustomed to. This idea has been pervasive throughout pop culture and has given rise to a fear of progress and technological advancement. The singularity is not just the idea of AI becoming self-aware but the idea that technological growth becomes uncontrollable and irreversible. This puts the onus not on AI but on humanity itself.

Webcomic // 2012-2015
Puk was a comic that I wrote and drew from June 2012 to January 2015. In that time the comic was featured in the State Journal Register under a student run section called ‘The Voice’ where I worked with an editorial team and weekly deadlines. In 2015 I was enrolled at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and thus the webcomic was put on hold and quietly finished. The webcomic is currently still hosted on Tumblr for you to read!
